Tru Giving Program
Tru Earth’s Global Giving Program, “Tru Giving by Tru Earth”, is dedicated to addressing hygiene poverty, a critical global issue that often goes unnoticed. While food is commonly donated to food banks, cleaning products—especially laundry detergent—are among the most requested but least provided items. Tru Giving combines environmental sustainability with social responsibility, making this program a natural extension of our mission. “Cleaning that Cares” is more than a slogan—it’s a commitment to creating a better world for all.
Our giving promise: For every $25 of Tru Earth products purchased anywhere in the world, Tru Earth will donate laundry detergent for 1 person in need for an entire month. We believe having clean clothes is a human right.

Our Impact Initiatives
1% For The Planet
We are proud to announce that we’ve joined 1% for the Planet, a global movement of thousands of businesses dedicated to giving back to the environment. By committing to give 1% of our annual sales, not just profits, to verified environmental non-profits, we’re reinforcing our promise to create meaningful, positive change for the people and planet.
Currently, only 3% of philanthropic giving goes to the environment, and this global community wants to change that. 1% for the Planet works to prevent greenwashing and certify reputable giving.

Through this partnership, we aim to support impactful initiatives addressing critical issues like climate change, conservation, and sustainability. This commitment aligns with our broader mission to balance profit with purpose, ensuring that our growth contributes to a healthier, more sustainable future. As we look ahead to 2025, our partnership with 1% for the Planet is a vital step in amplifying our environmental impact and inspiring others to join the movement for a healthier, more sustainable future.
B CORP
B Corp Certification is a globally recognized standard for companies committed to balancing profit with purpose. It evaluates businesses across five key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. To achieve certification, companies must meet the minimum verified score of 80 points on the B Impact Assessment (BIA), demonstrate accountability through legal commitments, and commit to ongoing transparency and improvement.

With an initial qualifying score of 82.7, Tru Earth met the threshold for B Corp Certification by demonstrating strong practices in key impact areas. As we work toward recertification in November 2025, we are on track to achieve a milestone score of 100+. Our aim is to set a shining example of what it truly means to be a force for good in business.
OCEAN WISE
Our mission is fueled by the urgent need to eradicate the 864 billion plastic household containers that end up in landfills and oceans each year, posing a critical threat to ecosystems. Plastic accounts for at least 60% of the annual waste inundating oceans and beaches—equivalent to over 46,000 pieces of plastic per square mile of ocean.

In partnership with Ocean Wise, we launched the Ocean Wise Shoreline Cleanup program in the USA in 2022 with over 75 #TruChangeMakers. We expanded from 7 cleanups in 2023 to 51 in 2024, mobilizing communities across the U.S. Between 2025 and 2027 we aim to
