Tru Earth’s Anita Spiller Named to Canada’s 2026 Clean50

TORONTO, ON — October 15, 2025 Tru Earth Environmental Products Inc. is proud to announce that Anita Spiller, Vice President of ESG, has been named to Canada’s 2026 Clean50, a prestigious recognition awarded annually by Delta Management Group and the Clean50 organization in the Retail / Consumer Products CategoryAnita becomes the third Tru Earth team member to earn a place among Canada’s Clean50 honourees, further cementing the company’s legacy of leadership in sustainability.

“Canada’s Clean50 Awards are announced annually by Delta Management Group and the Clean50 organization to recognize those 50 individuals or small teams, from 16 different categories, who have done the most to contribute to the clean economy in Canada over the past 2 years.” Said Gavin Pitchford, CEO, Delta Management Group. “Anita was chosen after rigorous screening and research by Delta Management, with advice from internal researchers and external advisors, and was among Honourees selected from an initial pool of well over 1,000 well qualified nominees.” added Pitchford.

Building on Tru Earth’s existing legacy of dramatically reducing the GHGs you cause by doing your laundry, Anita transformed a napkin sketch into a full-fledged movement, TRU Giving, the company’s flagship social impact program, which has delivered $30 million in eco-laundry strips to 1,600+ nonprofits since 2020. She secured a dedicated sustainability budget, built accountability across 160+ crew members, and sits on the Executive Leadership Team to ensure every initiative, from rail-based shipping to 90%+ waste diversion, aligns with measurable impact. She also launched employee programs granting 16 paid volunteer hours per person annually, boosting engagement while tackling social and environmental issues. A minister with the United Church of Canada, she blends faith with strategy, proving corporate sustainability can inspire purpose without losing rigor.

The Clean50 honourees are selected based on measurable accomplishments, innovation, collaboration, and their ability to inspire others. “To receive a Clean50 award is truly indicative of nation-wide and personal leadership in the Retail / Consumer Products category,” said Pitchford.

"I am deeply honoured to receive the Clean50 Award. This recognition is not just a reflection of my work with Tru Earth, but of the incredible team I have the privilege to work alongside, and the global communities we are striving to support. Fighting against hygiene poverty and making sustainability accessible is my driving force, and I am grateful to be part of the #truearthmovement that is making true lasting change. This award is a reminder of the important work still ahead, and I remain committed to advancing these causes with urgency and purpose." Said Anita Spiller, VP of ESG, Tru Earth.

Anita will be amongst 180 past and incoming Clean50 Honourees meeting on Wednesday October 15th at the “Clean50 Summit 15.0” in Toronto, to spend a day amongst peers and colleagues, tackling critical sustainability challenges facing Canada.
