New Partnership Empowers Scout Groups to Fundraise Sustainably and Support Youth Development
Ottawa, ON – February 23, 2026 - Tru Earth™, a Canadian B Corp dedicated to eliminating plastic waste from household cleaning products, is proud to announce its partnership with Scouts Canada to launch an evergreen no-touch fundraising program. Starting February 23, 2026, Scout Groups across the country will have the opportunity to raise funds by offering Tru Earth’s environmentally conscious products to their communities.
This program is designed to be simple and effective for Scout Groups. Participating Scout Groups receive 20% of sales while Tru Earth manages logistics and fulfilment, enabling Groups to focus on program delivery and adventures. To celebrate the launch and Earth Month, Scout Groups will get 25% commission for the month of April. The additional 5% will go to support Scoutrees, their national sponsor.
“Partnering with Tru Earth brings together two of Scouts Canada’s priorities—positive environmental choices and meaningful youth experiences. Together, we’re turning everyday purchases into more opportunities for young people to learn, lead, and explore.” Said Jennifer Bellaire, Director of Retail at Scouts Canada
Tru Earth’s fundraising program reflects Scouts Canada’s commitment to sustainability, community service, and youth empowerment. By offering plastic-jug-free cleaning products, Scout Groups are not only raising funds for meaningful programs but also making a positive impact on the environment and inspiring youth to lead by example.
“Partnering with Scouts Canada marks a significant milestone as our first national collaboration,” said Wanda Liski, Fundraising Manager at Tru Earth. “We’re thrilled to help Scouts empower youth and support their communities through sustainable fundraising. Our goal is to expand this model so more organizations across North America can achieve their fundraising goals and make a positive environmental impact.”
